The World‘s Most Popular Footballer Amongst Currently Active Players in 2007

International Federation of Football History & Statistcs today announced most voted football players in 2007.

More than million votes (1,017,786) was received for Egyptian player Mohamed Aboutreika.

Saudi Arabian player Yasser Al-Qahtani has received 613,116 votes, while his rival from Iraq Younis Mahmoud Khalaf received 583,769 votes. One more player who received more than 100,000 votes was Rogério Ceni from Brazil with 250,323 votes.

Spartak Moscor player Yegor Titov from Russia received 34,816. Adrian Mutu from Romania and Brazilian Kaká who plays for AC Milan received 21,481 and 20,313 votes accordingly.

Top 10 is completed by Mohamed Amine Chermiti (16,278 votes) from Tunisia, Ismail Matar (15,780) from UAE and Lionel Messi (14,934) from Argentina.

Brazilian Ronaldo who is playing for AC Milan is at 12th place with 13,016 votes, David Beckham (10,518) is at 14th place.

UK Top 10 Games for 2007

ELSPA and GamesIndustry.biz recently announced Top 10 Sold Games for 2007 in United Kingdom.

As no big surprise for UK market is that soccer game FIFA 08 from EA takes the lead of the chart with another soccer game from Konami Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is at 4th position.

Second position on the list is taken by logic puzzle game Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training from Nintendo, while More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima is at 5th position. Wii Play from Nintendo is also on the chart at 8th place.

Shooter games were also popular by UK buyers, so we see Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare from Activision at #3, Halo 3 from Microsoft at #6.

Seventh position is taken by EA and Matt Groening’s game The Simpsons Game by famous TV series.

Biggest EA rival Ubisoft boasts Assassin’s Creed at ninth position, while THQ holds 10th place with WWE Smackdown VS Raw 2008.

Top 10 Most Successful Scorers

Internation Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) recently published list of “The World’s most successful Top Division Goal Scorer among the still active Players“.

At the top we can see Guatemalian footballer Juan Carlos Plata who played 496 matches and scored 281 goal. He is ahead of second place by 12 goals, so Welsh player Marc Lloyd Williams with 383 matches and 269 goals will have to work more to get to top position. Third position is only one goal below (268), but Glenn Ferguson played 520 matches, so his average rating is smaller.

Estonian soccer player Maksim Gruznov with 266 goals in 351 match takes 4th place, while Shota Arveladze from Georgia is at 5th position with 263 goals and 426 matches. 261 goal was scored by Hakan ?ükür from Galatasaray SK ?stanbul in 517 matches and it guaranteed 6th place for him.

Top 10 list ends with Damian Mori from Australia with 259 goals in 493 matches, Víctor Hugo Aristizábal from Colombia with 248 goals in 487 matches, Henrik Larsson scored 247 goals in 431 match and Juan García Rivas from Venezuela with 243 goals in 533 matches.

Top 10 Movies in USA

IMDb recently announced Top grossing movies for 2007 in the USA. This list contains only movies that were first released in 2007, so You will not be able to see other popular movies that were released in previous years.

Four movies on the list made more than 300 million US dollars during last year. Top position is taken by Spider-Man 3 with 336,530,303 US dollars revenue. Shrek the Third (320,706,665 USD) and Transformers (319,014,499 USD) were in 2nd and 3rd position. Ten million less income was received for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (309,404,152 USD) at number 4.

Latest movie from Harry Potter series managed to 292,000,866 US dollars of income with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and it is more than 60 million more than The Bourne Ultimatum with 227,137,090 US dollars of income at 6th position.

French chef mouse in Ratatouille grossed 206,435,493 US dollars with very near rival I Am Legend with 206,129,574 US dollars of revenue are at 7th and 8th place accordingly.

One more animation from favourite TV Series The Simpsons managed to get 183,132,370 US dollars of revenue with The Simpsons Movie. Top 10 list ends with 168,213,584 US dollars revenue for Wild Hogs at number 10.

Top Artists for December 2007

top 4world recently announced new results, that were compiled of votes from December visitors.

American singer and songwriter Bruce Springsteen after break in November returns to the chart directly to top position. This month was very successful for Bruce Spingsteen because his album We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions also topped Top Albums list this month.

This month there are more returns after short break. Sixth place in October and second place in December is taken by British girl group Girls Aloud, while Bobby Darin returns to third position after having the same position in October.

Former American girl group First Choice received enough votes for going to fourth position. This is the first time we see this group on the charts.

American Idol winner Carrie Underwood drops by two positions from third place in November to fifth in December, while American rock band Maroon 5 is returning to the chart at sixth position. It’s fifth time on the chart.

Number seven in October Timbaland is coming back to the chart at the same position after break in November.

Latina singer Tatiana makes her debut at number eight, Canadian singer and songwriter Tom Cochrane premieres at nineth position, while American pop rock singer Ashlee Simpson takes tenth place.

Irish movie Once soundtrack received enough votes to get to second position in December. This soundtrack returns to the chart after nineth position in September, while soundtrack for comedy Juno is at third place in December and this is first time on chart.

Number two in October The Mack Is Back by Willie Hutch after short break makes fourth position in December.

Winner of American Idol fourth season pop country music singer Carrie Underwood debuts with album Carnival Ride at fifth place in top 4world.

Sixth place on the list is taken by number three in October A Musical Journey Through South America.

One more debut this month is with first album Boxer from rock bank The National.

Second month in a row and in the same eight position by Stephen Schwartz, Idina Menzel & Kristin Chenoweth and album Wicked.

A New Journey by Celtic Woman is at nineth place on the chart, while The Swell Season by Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova makes the top 10 list at number ten.
